SQUARE SPINDLE FOR INCREASED SPEED AND TORQUE

Electron Retract’s ER-50 Classic now comes with a unique square thread spindle. This provides significantly increased torque, while also improving speed.

DESIGNED TO SIMPLY WORK

Retracts are usually installed and hidden away, and at Electron-Retracts we know that. That is why all our retracts have been designed to require little to no maintenance, so your time at the field can be used for flying and not fiddling.

REVERSIBLE DESIGN

Depending on your specific model, it may need the retracts to fold back on themselves, or away from themselves. Thanks to our unique design, this can be achieved by simply removing the trunion and flipping it round. This procedure can be completed in minutes and does not affect the warranty.

HIGHLY CUSTOMISEABLE

Choose one of the pin hole sizes to perfectly match your desired struts and combine it with one of the different angled trunions to achieve the exact set you need.

SMOOTH & PRECISE TURN

The spindle system has two thrust bearings with internal shock absorbers
mounted on its head.

This gives the whole assembly a smooth and precise turn, and a cushion when it reaches the final position.

CHOICE OF STEERING SYSTEMS

Depending on the space available inside your model, you may be able to choose between any of our multiple steering systems, which range from integrating the steering servo to the leg (upright or inverted), a coupling system which disconnects when retracted or even the traditional pull-pull system.
